    Jumping rope is a great way to exercise and lose weight. At my Weight Watchers meeting they said that jumping rope burns more calories than most other exercises.

     I then began jumping rope to music for thirty minutes at a time. I lost 70 pounds. I jump roped to music that was recreational and made the time go by faster. The weight came off, and I gained a lot of muscle and lost fat. I wore athletic shoes and had a nice pair of radio headphones to jump rope to.

     I never got good enough to jump once while swinging the rope twice. But I did jump rope normally right away. I loved how simple it was. At first, I was hesitant to jump rope, but was relieved to know that boxers jump rope in their workouts.

     Jump rope is a good cardiovascular workout that can be compared to aerobics. I did it indoors and outdoors.
